Denyse Medlenka

Denyse Medlenka is the CEO of CIC, a global operator of innovation campuses where startups, scale-ups, corporations and public entities connect, work, and grow. Founded in 1999, CIC manages over 1.5 square feet of innovation-focused workspace, laboratories, and event space across North America, Europe and Asia. Additionally, CIC develops bespoke programming, builds and enables industry clusters, and provides world-class district consulting—all focused on advancing innovation.

At the heart of Denyse’s work is a belief that supporting innovation doesn’t just build companies—it builds communities. When ecosystems flourish, jobs are created, talent stays, and real pathways to economic mobility open up for individuals and families.

Denyse is a versatile executive with leadership experience across multiple industries and disciplines, including finance, human capital management, marketing, operations, and consulting. Named CEO of CIC in December 2025, she has held progressive leadership roles since joining the organization in 2022—serving as Chief People Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and President before assuming her current role. Prior to CIC, Denyse held senior leadership positions at Solo Brands and GameStop. She also serves as a board member of the Kendall Square Association.

Denyse holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.
