Jeff Hargroves

Jeff is the retired Founder (2018) of ProPharma Group, a global business serving the pharmaceutical industry. He founded the business in 2001, bootstrapped the growth through 2010, then partnered with multiple private equity firms to expand into Europe and Asia.

Jeff previously worked in various engineering and manufacturing roles for pharmaceutical companies and consulting firms. He is an active angel investor in a wide array of businesses.

While devoted to both family and business, he also values giving back to the community, particularly through educational and entrepreneurial initiatives serving those most in need. Jeff is active and in leadership roles in a variety of civic, philanthropic, public and private business, and industry organizations and board roles, including with Cingulate, Syner-G BioPharma Group, Excite Pharma Services, Attentive Science, Greater KC Community Foundation, Kansas City Symphony, Nelson-Atkins Museum, BioNexus KC, Mimi’s Pantry and others.

Jeff received a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri in 1989. He is married to Amy with 2 young-adult children – Jackson and Katie.
